Manager/Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team of roving maintenance technicians. You’ll work closely with a team of administrators to coordinate schedules, approve material purchases, and oversee projects. While this is primarily an office-based role, occasional visits to job sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring that they are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Working with administrators to manage schedules and work orders
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses for repairs and upgrades
  • Approving material purchases and managing inventory
  • Overseeing projects and ensuring completion to company standards
  • Working with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations
  • Handling vendor relations, including hiring, negotiating, and managing contracts
  • Occasionally visiting job sites for oversight and troubleshooting
  • Communicating with property managers and tenants to provide status updates
  • Ensuring safety compliance and following company policies
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of general maintenance, electrical, welding, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Software: Experience working with MS Office Suite, Yardi, and Asana

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in apartment or residential property maintenance
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team of 5+
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
  • Candite must reside within the Los Angeles/San Fernando area
