Manager/Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage a team of roving maintenance technicians. You’ll work closely with a team of administrators to coordinate schedules, approve material purchases, and oversee projects. While this is primarily an office-based role, occasional visits to job sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring that they are completed safely and efficiently.
- Working with administrators to manage schedules and work orders
- Manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting expenses for repairs and upgrades
- Approving material purchases and managing inventory
- Overseeing projects and ensuring completion to company standards
- Working with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Handling vendor relations, including hiring, negotiating, and managing contracts
- Occasionally visiting job sites for oversight and troubleshooting
- Communicating with property managers and tenants to provide status updates
- Ensuring safety compliance and following company policies
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

- Project Management: Skills to oversee maintenance projects from planning to execution
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of general maintenance, electrical, welding, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Software: Experience working with MS Office Suite, Yardi, and Asana
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in apartment or residential property maintenance
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing a team of 5+
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
- Candite must reside within the Los Angeles/San Fernando area
